SAVE THE FABULOUS FOUR!

Do YOU believe the lives of animals can be changed through love, caring and rehabilitation?

Do YOU believe YOU can make a difference for those who have not been fortunate enough to find their happily ever after in life?

These four dogs each have a sad story to tell, each were failed by the people in their lives, and each deserves a chance for a great life and happy future. You can help us put them on the path to a rewarding life by supporting the training they need to overcome the challenges they have faced. You can be the one they can count on.
With the help of qualified trainers we have successfully rehabilitated animals who would have otherwise never gotten the chance at a home life.  To see their transformation, those who would have otherwise been destroyed for behavioral issues, is the greatest reward.  Donate today and forever be a friend of the Fab Four!

The Fabulous Four...
Bear is a handsome boy that looks like your typical happy retriever mix. In reality his behavior reflects something very different and depicts that of an aggressive and unpredictable dog, recently biting through someone's hand. While some dogs can
suffer from physical illnesses Bear suffers from something quite different. His mother came from a puppy mill and he was severely inbred. Several of the other puppies in his litter also presented with behavior issues that we have been able to work through. Bear was by far the most severe of the litter. We have tried all of the options at our disposal and still the unpredictable behavior persists. You can see the pain in his eyes...he wants a better life. We don't have the resources to help him get better at the Farm but Bear has a chance at rehabilitation, to do that we need to raise funds to pay for his training.
LCAR St. Francis Farm is in a very rural area of South Carolina. Many dogs live outside year round in yards or at the end of chains. During a severe winter storm last year we
opened up LCAR St Francis Farm to the local community.Several dogs were brought to us and we provided safe harbor in the storm. After the storm our neighbors came to reclaim their dogs...all but Caine's owner. When Caine's owner finally did contact us, we didn't push his return to the end of the chain where he had spent his entire life. So Caine became a resident at the Farm. Sadly due to years without socialization Caine has developed behavior issues that have made placing him in a home difficult. With your help Caine can have a chance at a wonderful life and learn what it is like to be loved.

Several months ago we were asked to help this GORGEOUS Aussie... He appeared to
have some socialization issues and was behaving poorly at the shelter and his risk for euthanasia was HIGH. We agreed to bring Spot to LCAR, St Francis Farm where he behaved like a real gentleman.... so we decided to put him up for adoption. Sadly, that was just the beginning of Spot's problems and his "unpredictable side" began to escalate once he landed in NY, so back to St Francis Farm he went.Spot has difficulty trusting but once he does trust someone Spot gives his whole heart. It became clear that this handsome boy suffered some abuse in his life. We have located a trainer who can spend the time Spot needs to rehabilitate him and teach him that not all humans are scary. We believe Spot has an awesome life ahead of him but he will need your help to achieve that!!!
Several months ago LCAR was doing what we do, saving dogs from a SC kill shelter. As we were pulling out of the shelter an Animal Control Officer walked out to our van and said, "Any chance you would be interested in her.... if not I have to put her down when you pull out?" As much as we understand that we "can't save them
all...." we ask you- What would you have done?? So we loaded her up and took her back to LCAR, St Francis Farm. At that time Penny was about 25 LBS and the SWEETEST little pitty you have ever seen. She was afraid of her own shadow and absolutely refused to come out of her kennel. One by one we all fell in love with her. Sadly, we recognized quite soon that Penny was suffering from severe "dog aggression". And yes, we say suffering...can you imagine what it would be like to be afraid of everyone you meet and had no friends at all? We have high hopes for Penny. With your help she can learn that other dogs are her friends...and fun to romp and play with! She won't have to live her life alone any longer. Please help us help her find the skills she needs to live a happy life.

THE FABULOUS FOUR NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

The training for the Fabulous Four will give them the life skills and confidence they need to live happy lives. The training will cost $1200 each. We need to raise $4800to save the lives of THE FABULOUS FOUR. They deserve a life better than they have endured. YOU can make a difference, YOU can save their lives and end their suffering.
